Website Re-design
Recognizing that a website is a very potent communication medium, Ester Toribio, head of the Communcations and Information Management Group, heeded the call to make the website more up-to-date, more relevant and more interactive. The new and improved website, it is hoped, will enhance members' (as well as the public's) experience in using the site as a source of information, and will speed up delivery of planned benefits to members. It is also expected to vastly improve recruitment of new members and help the Internal Development Group under Livvy Camacho

achieve its goals.The enhacememt project consists of migrating the present website to a new and better platform, adding new pages, integrating with a more powerful database so that more functionalities such as self-service can be added.
Project planning begun in June and actual development work started in mid July. The project team is composed of Ester Toribio as project manager, Abe Tomas as designer
and Rey Formacion as developer and I represent the user community. The committee meets via web conference every Tuesday evening.
