Dates:
2009/11/16 - 8:00am
We thank the sincere cooperation and support of all of you in our honourable UPAAT association which has given us and continue to bless us with your 101% support to be able for us to have quickly stitched together a disaster aid response, the infratructure model of , which we can now document as a go-forward that can be shared to other requesting organizations
We will be sending a confirmation email this week to the Share Life Eecutive Director Art Peters that we are ready to turn over the 2nd $7.500 cheque for the Typhoon Ondoy victims.  The next set of ShareLife ta receipts will be mailed to all donors' listed mailing addresses by Share Life on or before December 15th , 2009.
We will copy the following in the Share Life communication:
UPAAT
Kalayaan Cu;tural Community Centre
Philippine Artists Group
College of the Holy Spirit ALumini Association, Canada Chapter
San Beda College Alumni Association
Philippine Central University Alumni Association, Greater Toronto
Phiilippine Colleges and Universities Alumni Association through its President, Rey Reyes
Umbra
Rotary Club of York and the listed hundreds of donors and donating caterers
We will also provide a report from Share Life on the distribution of the Ondoy aid in the Philippines.

One of our mlestone next step target for Q1 2010 is, subject to getting aVolunteer Lead from our association or from any of our Ondoy Task Force partners/collaboarator organizations, is to do a  due diligence research on the past and current state of the Federal Government Matching Program for international disater aid. We are hoping we can leverage from that to be able to package our efforts to a similar matching program.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the UPAAT Council members for giving us their time, their families' time, sometimes their work time, their R and R t ime by doing all the cheque pick-ups, and other heavy lifitings such as:
----- Jamming Night Benefit Dance's knocking for donations on caterers' doors and and rainy day door to door pick-ups on Oct 9th
----- and all the other many bucket loading-unloading/bucket carrying jobs ( so to speak) that needed to be done to this very day.
I am sure all other Councils would have done the same, given the situation.

Respectfully yours,

Malou Parcero, Ondoy Task Force Co-Chairperson
