A New Year's Greeting and First Announcement
To fellow members,
On this first day of the New Year, may your your hearts be filled with fresh hopes and visions of new horizons. May this day bring promises of brighter, happier and more prosperous tomorrows for you and your families. May you have a great and successful New Year.
With this greeting, I am happy to announce that a Committee to Propose Amendments to our Constitution has been formed and has buckled down to work. Headed by past president Geny Toribio and with Mon Exmundo (charter president), Guy Camacho, Mogi Mogado, Don Alinea and Marie Garingalao as members, this committee is expected to submit to the general membership a comprehensive proposal to amend the constitution with the aim in view of making this document relevant to the present and a beacon and guide for the future.
The committee is independent and is responsible only to the general membership. Thus it will perform its duties and functions in a manner it sees fit and will communicate with and report directly to the general membership.
