UPAA Toronto is committed to provide opportunities to engage in community activities. For instance, the Association was one of five founding members of the Summerfest whose goal is to harness the collective energy of various Philippine Colleges and Universities Alumni Associations and their members in GTA into a coordinated effort to pursue worthwhile community activities, mainly social, cultural and sports. It is said that the collective participation and involvement of alumni and friends in the Summerfest has a positive impact on the alumni community as a whole.
