  • To provide a vehicle for the development of cultural and artistic pursuits among the members through networking and information exchange and similar activities

Welcome to the Arts and Culture page of the UPAA Toronto website. Here we will feature cultural events, issues, initiatives, and causes relevant to the organization. We hope you will find it useful and engaging. We invite you to give us your inputs and comments.
 

CENTENNIAL GRAND REUNION AND HOMECOMING

For those among us who are unable to attend the UPAA Centennial Grand Alumni and Faculty Homecoming at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, on June 21, 2008, we are posting the souvenir program for the event (see below). Through this program we are able to be present and enjoy the festivities, albeit vicariously. The attractive and appealing cover was created by our first Muslim National Artist, sculptor-painter Abdulmari Asia Imao, a UP alumnus. As we read through, let us take pride in the accomplishments of our fellow-alumni, some of whom we know personally, reminisce about those wonderful and defining moments of our UP days, enjoy the rich cultural program, and be inspired to nurture the UP spirit so that it can be translated into acts of service to our fellowmen.
